Trailhead

Trailhead’s gamified platform utilizes bite-sized, conversational modules that are customized for specific roles and learning levels. They have rigorous tone and style guidelines, as well as a multi-layered editorial review process. Writing for Trailhead includes working with multiple subject matter experts, in-house editors, and graphic designers. Trailhead is constantly updated with new content covering business, tech, and soft skills. Introductory modules may use multiple-choice quizzes; those focused on a software product often use hands-on challenges completed in a sandbox environment. Examples:

Superbadges

Superbadges serve as advanced assessments of technical skills. I've worked on superbadges that assess specific software requirements, such as Apex, and demonstrate specific knowledge in areas of data quality and validation. Superbadges are designed for specific audiences, including developers, consultants, and administrators. Users must work in their own sandbox environment, implement custom solutions, and verify results. A superbadge is similar to a capstone project, as it demonstrates a synthesis of knowledge and mastery of a subject area. Examples:

Certification Maintenance Modules

Salesforce certifications are industry-recognized credentials that demonstrate specific expertise. To maintain their credentials, users must complete annual certification maintenance modules that highlight the latest topics. I've created these maintenance modules over multiple years. To date, I've written over 60 maintenance modules for certifications such as Salesforce Architect, Slack Consultant, Platform Developer, and Strategy Designer. Quizzes test learners on the latest innovations and features relevant to each role and credential.

MyTrailhead (internal)

I also write for MyTrailhead to create training modules that are available only to employees and Salesforce partners.
