Showcase: two-month turnaround

Synapse Health underwent management changes in 2023 and required a quick turnaround for sales support. A major trade show for the durable medical equipment (DME) industry was just two months away, and Synapse needed a fresh look, along with updated collateral materials. I quickly researched and acclimated to their industry specialties. I wrote new content for sales sheets, signage for a new trade booth, and assisted with editing their employee handbook.

Durable Medical Equipment

We focused on two important sectors of their business. Synapse Equip is a third-party DME administrator linking skilled nursing facilities and hospice organizations to network suppliers through the Synapse Equip platform. The digital system streamlines the ordering of equipment for patients and integrates with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, providing reporting, analytics, and consolidated invoices. Synapse Connect serves as the DME provider on record with a health plan/payer and handles end-to-end equipment ordering through order intake, fulfillment logistics, and claims submissions to health plans.
